Sharing the love: A Fan Artist's gifts to their favorite actors

Nothing melts this fan girl's heart more than meeting and sharing with celebs and getting some love back in return. This weekend I got to meet longtime idol of mine, Nichelle Nichols of Star Trek fame, as well as seeing Khary Payton, a fabulous voice actor, as well as The Walking Dead's King Ezekiel.

Ms Nichols is even more lovely now, and a classy and gracious lady. When l go meet folks, I often try to make them a hand-painted Christmas ornament of their character. She was so thrilled to get hers, and insisted on writing my name on the box to remember who it was from.

Khary is still adorable as ever! I'd met him a few years ago, and he has not let the additional fame of TWD go to his head. He is a very open and genuine individual who really enjoys meeting people. I had made a sketch (just for practice) of King Ezekiel, and gave it to him, as well as an ornament of Cyborg, his Teen Titans character. He happily showed it off to the folks at his table and told me how happy his wife would also be, as she is really into ornaments. Got multiple hugs for everything.
